Pells Recreation Ground and Malling Fields are being upgraded as part of the North Street Quarter scheme.
A working group comprising representatives from the Pells and St John’s Neighbourhood Association, Lewes Town Council and the Lewes Sounding Board is working with landscape architects Macgregor Smith who have been commissioned to draw up plans.
The architects have been consulting residents about how they would like the spaces to be developed and have held three rounds of consultation events, the first of which was in November 2016. The feedback from these consultations has been a key element in shaping how the two recreational spaces will look.
There will be further meetings with the working party to ensure that the final plans meet the needs of Lewes’ residents for years to come. We will update you on developments on the North Street Quarter website.
